BBC NEWS – Aids warning over bushmeat trade

Scary. About 5 million tonnes of bushmeat is eaten in West and Central Africa every year, and it’s estimated that 12,000 tonnes of illegal meat is smuggled into the UK each year, much of which is thought to be bushmeat.
