Shenandoah National Park has renovated Rapidan Camp (Hoover’s Camp), and it is now open to the public with interpreters at the camp.

It’s been 17 years since my last visit to Hoover’s Camp. When I visited in the 70’s and 80’s, the camp was always closed.
