AOL to Have Reruns on Demand

AOL and Warner Brothers are planning to put thousands of episodes of once-popular television shows like “Welcome Back Kotter”, “Kung Fu”, and “Chico and the Man” on the AOL.com Web site, where high-speed Internet users can view them on demand for free. The service is set to launch in January 2006, and it will include 4,800 episodes of more than 100 shows during its first year.

This is great. I haven’t seen Kung Fu on TV in years, and I can’t wait to see the episodes again. You’ve got to like how AOL is reinventing itself.
