What Was in the Mailbox Wednesday, 12.14.2005?

Wednesday, the mailbox contained:

* December 19, 2005 issue of [The New Yorker](http://www.newyorker.com) (American Viceroy – Zalmay Khalilzad’s mission in Iraq)
* October/November 2005 issue of [Seed](http://www.seedmagazine.com) (What Controversy?! – How Intelligent Design is Hijacking Science)
* January 2006 issue of [Consumer Reports](http://www.consumerreports.org) (Best phone & plan for you)
* A plea from [Van Hilleary](http://www.vanhilleary.com/) – a Republican from Tennessee who’s running for the U.S. Senate (He has Congressman Van Hilleary printed all over the letter and on the envelope, but he hasn’t been a Congressman since 1993. So, if you’re a Congressman for one 2-year period, does that mean you get addressed as Congressman for the rest of your life??)
* A card from the [Red Cross](http://www.redcross.org/) stating that I completed the Shelter Operations Course
