Virginia Peanut Crop Expected To Hit Record Low

Virginia’s peanut crop is expected to hit a record low this year.

A survey by the National Agricultural Statistics Service found that Virginia farmers expected to plant 15-thousand acres of peanuts this year,down 35 percent from a year ago.
