NPR ran a story Friday that mentioned the firing of the University of Florida’s head football coach, Ron Zook, and Florida’s interest in Steve Spurrier. They stated that Spurrier was fired from the Redskins. That’s not true. The Redskins did not fire Spurrier. He quit.
